COP26 Talks: Cécile Girardin PhD, Science Lead, Oxford Biodiversity Network

Cécile Girardin, PhD combines years of experience in climate change policy analysis, a background in tropical ecology, and a thorough understanding of forest ecosystem functioning to provide a unique multidisciplinary approach to her work. Girardin is the science lead of the Oxford Biodiversity Network and an Oxford Martin School Fellow. She is also the technical director of Nature-Based Solutions Initiative and the director of Nature-based Insetting. Girardin is here in Glasgow painting a COP26 mural with her son that captures the main outcomes of the negotiations. (For a deeper dive on nature-based solutions read the op-ed that Girardin wrote for World War Zero last month.)
